Three quick questions with Magnus Jacobsson at Lindab

EXHIBITOR | At Clima Energy Nordic, stakeholders driving the development of future-proof buildings come together. One of them is Lindab, which, with long experience in ventilation, demonstrates how the right solutions can make a real difference, both for energy use and indoor climate. We asked Magnus Jacobsson, Head of Business Area Ventilation at Lindab Sweden, three quick questions about what the industry often overlooks, how property owners should think going forward, and what insights you shouldn’t miss in their stand.

What do many still overlook when it comes to ventilation’s impact on both energy and indoor climate?

– That the role of ventilation is often underestimated in a building’s overall value creation. Many focus on insulation, façade and energy sources, but forget that ventilation is crucial for both energy efficiency and people’s health. The right ventilation reduces energy losses, creates stable operation and affects how attractive and sustainable a building actually is over time. For us at Lindab, ventilation is not a technical detail, but a strategic part of future buildings, where energy efficiency, well-being and business value go hand in hand.

If you could give just one piece of advice to property owners who want to future-proof their buildings, what would it be?

– Think long term and build partnerships, not just projects. Future-proofing is about choosing solutions and collaborations that can handle changing regulations, new requirements and new usage patterns. That means flexible systems, proven expertise and suppliers who take responsibility over time. We want to be that partner, combining industrial strength with technical know-how and a clear ambition to drive development towards more energy-efficient and sustainable buildings.

What kind of solutions or insights do you hope visitors will discover at your stand?

– We hope visitors will discover how Lindab combines ventilation, control and digital insights into a complete solution. On site, we want to show how the right solutions can provide a clear overview of the indoor climate, both in real time and over time, and what that means in practice for energy, operations and indoor climate. With demand-controlled solutions like Lindab Pascal System Management and our new digital platform OneSync, property owners and operations managers can visualize performance, detect deviations early and optimize systems based on actual data. For us, it’s about making it easy to make the right decisions and being a long-term partner driving the development towards energy-efficient buildings with a good indoor climate.

Thank you Magnus, see you in February!
